None. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data. It does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or any other device data, and it does not use advertising identifiers.
Where's the Cheese? works entirely offline and makes no network connections. Game progress - unlocked levels, stars earned, the chosen character, and the sound on/off preference - is saved only on your device using Apple's standard local storage. Like other app data, it may be included in your device backups (iCloud or computer backups), which are controlled by you and by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we have no access to them.
Where's the Cheese? is designed for young children, and it is built so there is nothing to protect them from: the app collects no personal information from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country), as defined by the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, and similar laws. The app contains no third-party advertising, no third-party analytics, no social features, no chat, and no links out of the app's play areas.
The app contains no third-party software development kits, advertising networks, or analytics services, and shares no data with anyone.
The app is free of in-app purchases and displays no purchase opportunities.
We retain nothing, because nothing is ever sent to us - we operate no servers for this app. All game progress lives on your device: deleting the app permanently deletes it.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
