Swipe anywhere on the screen and your rat scurries that way, stopping at corners and junctions. Crumbs are collected automatically as you pass. Reach the cheese to finish the level. Collect every crumb in a level for three stars.
Tap the other rat in the top corner of the game screen and they will scamper a few steps along the right path, leaving paw prints. The button takes a short rest between hints.
Penelope only blocks the path while she is awake. Watch her: she stretches just before she wakes up. Wait for her to fall back asleep, then sneak past. Crumbs and keys you have collected are never lost.
Progress (unlocked levels, stars, chosen character, sound setting) is saved on the device itself. The game collects nothing and never connects to the internet, so progress does not transfer between devices. Deleting the app deletes its progress.
Tap the speaker button on the title screen or the level map. The game also respects your device's silent switch.
